Acoustic Panel Test Reports & Performance Data
Review 18 laboratory reports covering NRC, weighted sound absorption coefficient, octave-band performance, mounting construction, fire classification and material physical properties. Use the filters to locate a product configuration, report number or performance result.
What this report library covers
This acoustic panel test report library is designed for architects, acoustic consultants, contractors, distributors and procurement teams. It indexes the tested sample, panel thickness, mounting cavity, infill, standard and headline result so you can find the relevant source before reviewing the full signed report.
Absorption performance
Eleven reports state NRC values from 0.60 to 0.95, while five earlier reports state weighted absorption coefficient and sound absorption class.
Tested construction
Panel dimensions, perforation patterns, air cavities, fiberglass thicknesses, densities and Type E mounting conditions are kept with each result.
Specialist material evidence
The library also includes a Class A1 fabric-panel fire test and a mass-loaded-vinyl physical-property report with tensile, elongation and tear data.
Results apply only to the tested specimen and installation described in the named report. NRC and alpha-w are separate rating systems. Confirm the current product model, thickness, mounting, intended market and project requirements before using a value in a specification.
Search acoustic panel test reports
Search by product, report number, construction, result or standard. Expand any card for the report filename, test context and key frequency-band evidence. Replace each PDF URL placeholder after uploading the report to the website.
18 reports shown
NRC and alpha-w remain labelled separately.

No matching reports
Try a broader term such as “wood”, “NRC”, “ISO 354”, “A1” or a report number.
How to read the test results
A performance number only makes sense with its tested construction. Compare the panel thickness, perforation pattern, air cavity, fiberglass depth and density before using a result to support product selection or specification.
- NRC
- Noise Reduction Coefficient is a single-number average derived from absorption coefficients at selected octave-band frequencies. The NRC shown here is copied from the named report and applies to that tested assembly.
- Alpha-w
- Weighted sound absorption coefficient is calculated using ISO 11654 and may include shape indicators such as L, M or H. It is kept separate from NRC in this library.
- Frequency data
- One-third-octave absorption coefficients show where an assembly performs strongly or weakly. A high peak at one frequency does not automatically mean broadband performance.
- Mounting
- Air cavity and porous infill can materially change performance. Reports in this library include configurations from no fiberglass to 100 mm fiberglass and cavities from 50 mm to 250 mm.
- Fire class
- The Class A1 document covers burning behaviour under GB 8624-2012. It does not establish NRC, and its applicability should be checked against the current product build and project jurisdiction.
Test report questions
Use the full signed report when a project requires formal technical review or submittal evidence.
Are NRC and alpha-w the same rating?
No. NRC and weighted sound absorption coefficient (alpha-w) are calculated under different rating methods. Both summarise absorption performance, but they should remain clearly labelled and should not be substituted for one another without the project consultant confirming the required standard.
Does one report cover every panel thickness and installation?
No. Each result applies to the sample and mounting described in that report. Panel thickness, perforation pattern, backing, cavity depth, porous infill and mounting orientation can change the measured absorption. Match the proposed product build to the report before citing its value.
What should be confirmed before using a report for a project?
Confirm the model, dimensions, material build, mounting, current report status, required test standard and project jurisdiction. For tenders or technical submittals, request the complete signed PDF and ask the Leeyin technical team to verify that it matches the proposed product.
Need a verified report for a specification or tender?
Send the product name, proposed thickness, mounting construction, project location and required standard. Our team can help identify the relevant file and confirm the evidence scope.
